I walked to oversize/fragile baggage and found my guitar case half opened.
I opened it up and took it out and found it had been completely destroyed.
It was in a hard case, properly packed. Needless to say I am 100% devasted.
John Macdonald built me this incredible guitar and it was a one of a kind and
despite any monetary compensation could never be replaced. I cried in front
of the airport staff. Yup. I will now have to rent a guitar in each city I am in.
I was on an Air Canada flight.
