I can’t believe it’s been two years since I released any new music! After “Holding Patterns” was released in May 2016 I toured and toured and toured…. Canada, Europe, the UK. I had a helluva time full of beautiful adventures and immense challenges. It finally feels like time to put some new music out!

With all of  your support and love I was able to do great things the last two years…

So excited to share that I am back in the studio with producer / artist Colin Cripps (Blue Rodeo). We have started up at The Bathouse where so many incredible albums have been made!

'Red Dress' is meant to honour the over 1180 Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada and raise awareness for this tragic and ongoing issue. 

After hearing the song in it's early stages, award-winning artist Chantal Kreviazuk was compelled to lend her voice to the song and the cause.

The title "Red Dress" and the concept for video were derived from artist Jaime Black's REDress Project

I am deeply honoured to be one of the recipients of the REVEAL Indigenous Arts Awards. It was incredible to be in the same room with so many First Nations, Metis & Inuit artists. Miigwetch to the Hnatyshyn Foundation, the donors & jury for acknowledging the incredible work of so many Indigenous artists. I will be using this award to create new works for my next album.
